Terms and conditions

1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the web design services ("Services") provided by Lueur Design Studio ("Designer," "we," "us," or "our") to the client ("Client," "you," or "your"). By hiring us for web design services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Scope of Services
We provide web design services, which may include:
Website design and development
UI/UX design
Responsive and mobile-friendly design
Basic SEO setup
Domain and hosting setup (if agreed upon)
Other related services as per project agreement
Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing will be outlined in a separate written agreement or proposal.

3. Payment Terms
A 100% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins.
Additional fees may apply for extra revisions, additional features, or late payments.

4. Client Responsibilities
Providing all necessary content (text, images, logos, etc.) in a timely manner.
Ensuring that all provided content is legally owned or properly licensed.
Reviewing and approving designs and functionality within agreed timelines.

5. Revisions and Changes
The project includes the rounds of revisions written in chosen service. Additional revisions will be billed separately.
Major changes outside the original scope will require a separate agreement.

6. Intellectual Property Rights
Upon full payment, the Client will receive ownership of the final website design and its elements.
We retain the right to showcase the completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
Any third-party assets (e.g., stock images, fonts) remain subject to their respective licenses.

7. Project Timelines & Delays
Estimated completion times are provided in the project agreement.
Delays caused by late client responses or missing information may result in a revised timeline.
We are not responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., server issues, third-party delays).

8. Website Launch & Maintenance
Once the website is approved and initial payment is received, we will launch the site.
Post-launch maintenance is not included unless specified in a maintenance agreement.
We are not responsible for website issues after handoff unless under a maintenance contract.

9. Limitations of Liability
We are not liable for business losses, downtime, security breaches, or other issues beyond our control.
We do not guarantee specific SEO rankings, website traffic, or conversions.

10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement if the other breaches its obligations.
If the Client terminates the project early, all work completed to date must be paid in full. Deposits are non-refundable.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec, Canada.
